Tim, my main point is that the trend in the S&P has been up up and away over the past couple of years while during the same time Fleck has spread doom and gloom. He explains away his bad calls by hinting of conspiracy among traders, fund managers and government officials. Everybody makes bad calls (yes even me) but I don't become paranoid with overatures of a mass conspiracy.

I was mistaken to say that we were at a technical all-time high on the S&P 500 but suffice to say the index is bumping up against the top from a 2 year perspective: quote.yahoo.com^SPC&d=2y
