Just a few general thoughts about the thread lately. Hope I don't offend anyone... I'm concerned by the frequency that I am seeing 'The Street sure is stupid for not realizing how great G* is. All those fund managers sure are dumb.' Based on the performance of the stock (down roughly 35% from all time high), they don't appear to be all that dumb. I know I don't have anything close to the insight into this industry that a lot of people here have. This makes me start to wonder what all those people selling and shorting know that I don't... I plan to hold on to my shares (I'm still sitting on profit, so I can afford to be patient), but I can certainly see why a lot of people are nervous about G*. I think it would be very enlightening to hear some of the more insightful posters here (djane, Maurice, RS etc.) play devils advocate for a spell. I've posted here before that if I can hear your best argument to sell, and still be a long, then I will feel better about my decision to buy in the first place. Any way, sorry to bore you all with my ramblings. It just occured to me to ask djane how the thread is doing in the 'predict the share price' contest. My guess is that most of us are more than a little disappointed... Cheers, Chris
