Petz,

This is another confirmation of K6-3 400MHz short supply. I've been monitoring the lowest price of k6-3 400 at Pricewatch. Within the last few days, the lowest price of k6-3 400 has gone up to $80 from $73.

Also, the number of dealers offering "ASUSTECH" motherboards at Pricewatch, has been tripled from two to three days ago [ brook.pricewatch.com ]

Regards,
Goutama

Petz - Re: "How many graphics boards 2 years ago had more than 8M of memory? Today many have 32M. "

And how many of those 8 MB graphics boards from two years ago were UPGRADED to 32 MB of memory ?

Probably less than 0.01% !!

That's the POINT !!!!

As time marches on, people BUY NEW PCs/components instead of upgrading the old ones.

In two years, I'm sure RAMBUS or DDDR motherbaords will be available with 512M/1024 MEg, etc.

How many AMDroids are pulling their hair out now that their SooperDooper 7 K6-2 motherboards are NOT UPGRADEABLE to AthWIPES ?
