Marty:

As far as I know, the American Silver ownership details
were worked out a long time ago, and long before the
benefits and potentially excellent revenues from this
source were recognized. I guess I look at the glass
as half (almost) full, rather than half-empty. I view
this venture as one that will tide Clifton over until
the Cane Springs venture can be drilled with income
from American Silver sales. I have several juniors
(unfortunately) that have not "made it" through the
difficult bear market in the natural resources. Clifton
will be a survivor.

With respect to lead, take a look at the London metals
exchange web site, to get an idea of what the metals have
done. Lead remains the weak sister, whereas the others
have all gone up, with zinc actually almost double in price
from where it was a year ago. I view the Cane Springs
deposit as the project most likely to succeed, unless and
until lead prices start to rise.

Dan
