tecinvestor: can you believe DOJ is charging $25 for the FOF (please tell me it ain't so or I'm incorrect)? Nothing like the government losing its way into thinking that they're a business. Maybe they can roll out a major marketing campaign including banners on the Empire State Building (ala Windows 95) to drum up more sales for the FOF.

With government server mirroring and the like heavy downloading of the FOF might actually cost them about 1/2 cent per PDF copy from their normal load. It's frustrating to see the .gov's recent leveraging of the net to try and turn they're servers into profit center. That's a good profit but a major "fleecing". Do you think the inventor of the InterNet <yah right!>, Al Gore, came up with this horrendous idea. He has been a major propopent of .com,ing the .gov's.

NTIS (National Technical Information Service) is now charging $2 for 50 word abstracts on technical documents. Hope someone can stop this "hyper-fleecing" of the American public.
