Okay Steve, Mr.1992, how do you feel about CSCO after today's trading day? Please kid, don't react so negatively, or for that matter, so positively, on a particular trading day. CSCO is as good a stock as you can own! Buy it, hold it, and retire on it!

Howie

steve, i understand your concern. i think csco will beat by a penny as it usually does. this is a mute point

Having said that,
going forward erning growth may slow down cuz all the companies
being acquired, some at a very lofty price, are not going to add to csco's erning right away.

Csco is the darling of the street (imo), I backed up the truck when csco PE was 25 couple of years ago. Now I see csco trading at much higher valuations but I think the company has the credibility to support these valuations.

If u belive above then our expectaions should reflect this. I do not see csco making moves like qcom or spliting 4:1 but I would not invest the same amount of mony in qcom as i have in csco.
If this makes sense to you then you know that mutual fund managers are also thinking along the same line.

Qcom may continue to higher but at the end of the day I am happy to be in csco.
If u r very concerned buy/wasste some $$ for neaar term insurance
so u can go bak to sleep.
