can market hold big early pop? I am using this opportunity to do more house cleaning and get some of these non-participants cashed in for more of the breakouts. Remember, I am totally treating the moves of the past few days as THE JANUARY EFFECT. It has every indication of being so. . .and I can think of no logical argument against my presumption. So we move into the stocks that the fund managers are betting their reputations on most. . . we find them by looking at volume over last 3 days.. . .those that were slammed with volume all of a sudden. . .on no real news. . .are of most interest. The play is that these fund managers will continue buying the same names throughout the next year. For those that missed my portfolios from December 9, 1998 and January 1, 1999. . . up around 300 percent for the year. . . beating all the mutual funds in America. . .based in part to this same logical play.
