I think you will find this thread to be a very good source of help and honesty. Don't hesitate to PM any of us to talk about almost anything. Watch out for the dreaded G/K addiction, though! It'll make you fat and rich before you know it!

although i feel bad i will be causing them to lose more money. maybe i should do them a favor and my good deed for the day and order them from barnes and noble.

That's funny! What a great sense of humor amidst all that other grief. You're going to be just fine

cfm,

You're getting some terrific advice and I'd like to add a smidgeon for you to think about.

i think i was in the panic phase and have just entered into the pissed-off phase and want to fight my out of this

My first reaction is that "this" probably is something not to move from. Instead, think of your current situation merely as the present and the situation you hope to move toward as the goal. All in all, I won't be surprised to learn that your current situation is one that would be the envy of millions if not hundreds of millions of others.

My second reaction is that however you look at it, you probably have a better chance of "laughing and learning" your way out of it than fighting your way out. Long-term investing can be fun and I've found that the best way to get the smile going is to laugh at myself. When I do that I find that there are always plenty of friends along to share in the laughter. :) As for the learning part, it's a gradual process in which we learn more from our mistakes than our successes. So relish the former, laugh at them, and you will ultimately prosper on all fronts.

Good luck and may you enjoy all good fortune, including the joy of frolicking with one or two hairy beasts that are prone to come to rest on their front knuckles!
