This is superb - especially to address internet congestion.

These web-caching servers can be distributed all across the world. Then, when any one wants a stock quote, for example, their search can be provided from a physically close Web-Cache Server, instead of each quote requiring IP traffic from the user, through the ISP - to the Portal-to the NYSE/NASDAQ/TIBCO server, and back.

The Web Cache servers can be updated directly & periodically from the information source-server.
