You read my mind. My take on all the 3rd party side by side comparisons in aggregate to date has the K7 and Coppermine in a dead heat.

SO back to the original question: Is K7 7th generation? Jury is still out, IMHO, but I strongly lean towards no. How many AMD die hards believe K7 will be able to compete against Willamette?
