TM,

You credit me with far more power and / or influence than I actually have.

Slight correction. I asked Bill F. to honour his obligation as a director of a public corporation (GNET the owner of SI) and as a money manager to comply with SEC disclosure regulations.

Rather than comply, Bill F. changed his SI ID from Bill Fleckenstein to Bill F.; hasn't posted since Oct 20.

All he's done is given the appearance of stubborn refusal against compliance; and with the change of his SI ID the appearance of an attempt to obstruct the SEC investigation.

These were Bill's choices not mine.

At no time have I suggested that Bill or any other SI poster be censured. I do expect "professionals" to honour their obligations.

But then, when has any bear on SI worried about truth, honesty or ethics?

FWIW,
Ian.

Keep in mind that Ian Stromberg is the guy who has driven Bill Fleckenstein off of SI for expressing bearish views.

Tom, FYI, I believe Fleck chose to cut to crap with idiots like him and keeping a low profile.

Tom,

So "Fleck" does not post under "Ask Michael Burke" any more?
That's too bad, and it reminds me of a similar incident when a few posters "drove" Arch Crawford off the Investment Theory boards on Prodigy Classic about three years ago...
The best way to deal with the bulletin board "bashers" is to stay on track and just keep posting one's thoughts and ideas, but some just can't seem to handle it. Yogi (many have tried to "drive me off" in the last ten years of public posting, but when they pick a fight with me, they are challenging a great "Yogizuna" :^)
