Nice analogy.

These Intelabees are HOPING i820/FLOPPERMINE/DRDRAM systems will sell well against Athlon systems but they won't in the retail market where price IS a concern because the Intel systems will cost MORE for comparable performance at the same MHz.

And I am only looking at retail because that is basically the only place to get Athlons right now. (Cybermax isn't that big.)

The Athlon offers the best price/performance ratio for high end systems.
