Superdow:

I do not follow the Nasdaq. I deal with the INDU because I was raised on it. With MSFT and INTC it is now the SPINDU and will track the SPX much more closely. The SPX has 50 stocks and 450 stiffs.

nothing can stop it - (speaking in terms of the broader market)

I quite agree. The market has reached a permanently high plateau. ;-)

But, I should remind, that sometimes it's really only nothing that can and does stop a rally in its tracks.

Why, only a few weeks ago Steve Ballmer, speaking to a small group in some auditorium, single-handedly caused the entire tech sector to wither on the vine. In just a few hours, millions of "investors" the world over were berating him for "causing it to stop". And then there was old Mrs. O'Leary's cow in Chicago. The blundering animal kicked over the lantern, and burned down nearly the entire city.
