Well, Moody's can do all they want to....DELL is still down.
Maybe the street is asleep and doesn't know of the upgrade.....highly unlikely.
For some reason and I can't find out why, but DELL is sucking air here.
Could it be the insiders know that DELL will not meet earnings???? Oh, my if DELL misses.....lookout below!!!

More evidence of Dell's impact on CPQ:

yahoo.cnet.com

Of particular interest was this snippet from the piece:

CNET News.com: As you look forward, what do you see as your biggest challenges getting some momentum back into Compaq?

Capellas: I've sort of set out the priorities. First, we need to very clearly establish our product solution and road maps for those solutions. We need to decide what businesses we are going to be in, what businesses we're not going to be in, and in each of those businesses and markets what solutions we're going to offer. We have too much in the portfolio, so we need to streamline it down. And in some areas, there are gaps in terms of our coverage.

Of particular interest was the clear implication that CPQ would be exiting certain businesses.

Moody's Upgrade Dell's Debt rating and the stock goes down almost two points while every other box maker advances. Apple was up almost 5,
Compac up almost 2, Gateway up over 2. This has got to be the most frustrating damn thing I have seen all day. Next week when the earnings are out will push me to make the final decision I have been putting off too long.
