Bobby, quite right...the euphoria is incredible. the analyst's commentary on CNBC last night and today was in some cases extreme in the assertions that were made. it really is like Japan in the eighties, if not worse...the words with which a futures desk head justified endless p/e expansion today were the '90's version of what was said in Japan back then. the essence of it was: "THIS IS DIFFERENT". no-one considered even for a moment that we may have plain old speculation at work here... regards, hb
