OT - Re: Heterogeneous and Homogeneous networks - a couple of angles. Fumble, the advantages you point out in a heterogeneous network make sense: 1. Keep a degree of control over the suppliers; 2. Get the best technology. SBC appears to be doing exactly this. It will be interesting to see if the internet buildout continues along these lines as companies like LU are molding themselves as end-to-end one-stop shops. SBC's type of buildout goes against this concept. Clay
