Last wk I noticed I was running out of disk space so I cleaned up my hard drive and went from 46mb to 10mb. Yes in cleaning up my drive I lost 36mb of space. Can anyone explain how.
Also I noticed a lot of files with a CHK extention. what are they and can they be safely eliminated.
Cannot find wordpad to read the files. They look like they were created by DOS and may be fragments but before I delete them I'd appreciate some input

Page numbering in Microsoft Word

Two interrelated questions:

I have an MS-Word document in which I would like to add pages done in another (Non Microsoft) software in several places throught the document. How do I get to print the page numbers by skipping that page nmumber where I will be inserting the other software's pages?

In adddition, my first two pages (cover and disclaimer) should have no page number. How do I force MS Word to start printing page numbers in the third page?
