Dear JB: Sorry, I respectfully disagree. Those members of the public who feel they can handle a computer have one. The market penetration on the consumer level is about as far as its going to get with PC's IMHO. Yes, there will be people upgrading, younger people entering the market etc etc. But that vast horde of Baby Boomers and above IMHO either got one now or are afraid to get one. Those even older are even worse. Maybe set top appliances will fill in that niche, dont know. The sad part is older people who would really benefit from the Internet experience many are afraid to make the leap and it isnt about money. jdn

Why?

It gets the job done with no hassles at a low price point. Wait till the phone companies offer free computing appliances.

By the way, as I recall, the PSX runs a UNIX operating system.
