Goutama,

<If the above two points are true, then we may see record sales of K6-x cpus this quarter. Because of higher sales of mobile cpus and k6-3s in Q4, we may also see slightly improved k6-x ASP - if there are no surprise price cuts by Intel at the low end. This may be a pleasant surprise for AMD; because as per the CC, AMD's expectations were lower ASP and no increased revenue from K6-x lines. Do you agree?>

Yes, the guidance sounded to me like slightly lower K6 ASPs with no significant upside from units. That's why I said a few days back that I am estimating $60M in incremental K6 revenues for Q4.

As far as price cuts from Intel are concerned, I am not sure if that will have much impact on K6. Christmas is already spoken for. Any impact would be on K7 ASPs and units for Q1 builds.

I am looking forward to the cc. Any real appreciation in the stock price, IMHO, will come from K7 status and not the K6 uptick.
The one thing that I continue to wonder is if the current price already reflects the K6 business uptick. If there is no upbeat news on the K7 side, we may have a good call and no movement in price (or worse, sell on the news).
