Fabeyes, glad to see you touching base again. Yes, Ovonyx is its own company and we (ECD) have a JV with them - or at least that is my understanding of the agreement. I'm waiting to see who the "others" are and where "elsewhere" is. From Tyler's comments, I get the impression that "elsewhere" means both here and abroad.

Are you still at the same location/desk?

Fabeyes-- You seem to be knowledgeable on Micron, OUM, and Tyler. So tell us your take on Lockheed as a partner? Word is that this is not even a sub micron fab and thus that we are 16-20x larger than the state of the art .18 micron fabs. I suppose that some fab is better than no fab, eh Fabeyes? or have we shot ourselves in the foot by going with LM which will discourage (prohibit?) other fabs interested in the military/space arena from jumping aboard?

without revealing the [planned] memory test cell area,
thus tipping off a bit about process tech (to eternally
pesky shareholders, as opposed to "competitors" who already know)...

can it be stated in relatively technology-independent terms,
such as ratio of cell size to line width (feature size)?

for example, DRAM cells are currently 8*(F squared),
trending toward 6 F**2, as IBM freely publicizes at:

techweb.com

for their gigabit chips.

also, e.e. times discusses now-routine 256Mbit FLASH tech at

eetimes.com

where multilevel (2-bit/4-state) FLASH now comes in at
64M cells per 40 sq. mm. 4-bit-per-cell flash exists
in the labs.
