Frederic Conrad, I don't know how anyone could read the poem you presented and not have the greatest form of respect for the people who have put their very life on the line so that the people of their country could have all of the benefits that life has to offer.

Fred, I thank you, commend you, and applaud you for publishing this poem on the thread. It brought tears to my eyes, much the same as when I hear Taps blown over a dead soldier. Too many Americans, today, do not appreciate the great sacrifices of our troops, so that we can live in freedom and safety. I will forward this to everyone I know. Thanks again.
