that deferred revenue gambit is no big deal, from 4.2 billion to 4 Billion? who cares?

taxman: They covered that in the cc. The reduction in deferred revs. has to do with the fact that they had no new software introductions that were presold as was the case with Office which accounted for 500,000,000 coming into this qrtr. That was a big bulge and with no presales this qrtr. that seems logical. Win2K will not need any help next qrtr. and we have already been guidance that earnings should be on the hig side of estimates. INTC selling a lot of chips - can't be all bad. JFD
