I have a question for those of you that have LVL II. I use eSignal. It was up and down and finally down for the count today, but when it was up, especially early this morning my screen showed bids and asks, with share sizes, dated 01/03/00. Those were the dates I remember seeing. All were January 2000 dates but the day may have differed, I just don't remember. I was way to interested in getting the right information up on the screen so that I could trade. Later, though, I started thinking about it...

Anyway, on SUNW for instance, it showed the 01/03/00 date with 70 on the bid. All the normal "guys" were there such as GSCO, SALB, LEHM, MSCO and so on.

I own SUNW in my long term portfolio. It is due to split 2-1 on Dec 4, 1999. At the rate it is going right now it just might split at 140 making it 70 post split.

And the prices varied on the other stocks I looked at. Not just on the bid but on the ask also. All were dated in the year 2000.

One of my stocks that traded at 3 all day long,ALAN, had bids at 25, with stock size showing, and dated 01/03/99.

Do you think my eSignal took me into the twilight zone of trading or what? I have seen dated bids and asks before but never remember seeing any for January 2000.

The thought that maybe, just maybe, my little stock that traded at 3 all day today might be worth 25 in January got me a little excited. OK, more then a little excited! ;-)

Do the MM's put in bid and ask orders that far in advance or am I just dreaming the sweetest dream?

Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated. Did anyone else experience this with their LVL II? And, if it wasn't true bids and asks then what else would show up like that, in that format?

Cheers!
Jo
