The nanos.... ha.... they're eating me out of house and home!!!! - LOL

Seriously, they did a great job of calling a bottom, a top and a bottom. While they called the last bottom, they didn't call a reversal... which sort of screwed me up a bit because I probably missed a few opps being too tentative.

To the extent that feeling comfortable with the market direction is helping me trade, I think they're working pretty well. Being aggressive during the last up turn and then going largely to cash during the last downturn definitely paid off!!! The question is, will they accurately call a top this time???

What they're not helping me do at this point is pick stocks.... (ie. they didn't tell me to short NT today - LOL!!!). I'm still running the individual stock nanos... particularly on MCF and ATY.... but I'm not trading on the basis of them yet. Both populations still seem to be too bullish.... nothing worse than an overly optimistic nano!!!! At the same time, both populations are continuing to evolve at a relatively consistent pace ... as opposed to the market nanos which have pretty well stabilized... so there is still hope!! I have also been running a population extensively on the TSE oil&gas producers index... which has achieved an incredibly low standard error.... If you ever see me jumping onto the oil and gas band wagon, you'll know that those have predicted a big upturn for that sector... and then you can see for yourself how accurate they are - LOL!!!

In any event, if the 150 gap looks like it is seriously going to materialize, I am going to move largely to cash and stay there... better a missed opportunity than an actual loss. (That doesn't apply to my positions in MCF/DMX and GEM... which have a longer horizon than a 2 or 3 week cycle... well unless I think I can seriously average down... or unless the gap is so huge that it signifies a really significant down turn vs. a fluctuation in a price range???)

Well... if nothing else, they keep me company and keep Vital nervous - LOL!!!!!!
