Well, after lurking and learning for over 20,000 posts (on this thread alone), I finally have something to say. To my friend, Qualcomm "Sponsor", and S.I. Junkie Kelly Kammeyer; Congratulations on your Quillion! Kelly and I met 8 years ago. We had both dropped out of the "real world", moved to the mountains, worked nights in a restaurant, and rent was our greatest financial motivator. Kelly scraped together enough to buy a modest ski condo, and leveraged that over a couple years and wound up with 4 condos. Last fall, after reading "The Roaring 2000's", finding George Gilder, and the Gorilla Game, he announced that he was "retiring" with $80,000 of his gain to study the market and invest full time. After stumbling out of the blocks with a portfolio of 15 or so tech stocks, he winnowed out the non performers, and when the Ericson deal was announced, moved 100% to the Q. That is also when he told me about Qualcomm, for which I am forever grateful. Kelly and I, and some of our other friends he has brought to the club, have discovered options, LEAPS, Conference Calls, and the true power of the Gorilla. And on Friday, Kelly became a Seven-Digit Man.
