well my ex-roomate used to go out to Area 51 and take photos all the time. I went with him on one trip and we saw two A-10s. One was flying inverted at about 300 feet.

This post has a UFO flavor to it...

The vantage point he used to go to has now been bought by the military...

But this same friend was at a German US Military Base as a civilian and started photographing our fighters on the flight line. His story was the MP's drove by and threw him in the base jail. His customer got him out, but the AF kept the film.

Back in the early 80's I had the opportunity to watch a U2 fly overhead...

Does anyone know if there is a thread about posts that have been deleted?.....don't you wish sometimes you could see what was so bad anyway?.....would this be legal or against TOU to have such a thread?...that is the thread would be about the deleted posts but those post wouldn't actually get republished again publicly that is...there would be this "underground" pming going on which apparently so I have heard goes on already anyway...I personally have never engaged in such activities....I have just heard rumor that this goes on....certain restrictions would apply in which private pming would be posts that were deemed in poor taste and not anything that revealed personal identity of a fellow SI member.
