Regis - the only manipulation was done by the scum management of PPOD - I am willing to bet that they sold many, many shares of this dog yesterday and today and left you holding the bag. Denial is a terrible thing, my friend - just move on.

The earning release, followed by SEC filing with no mention of McLane, followed by the Mclane announcement, all happened within two days. Its management is not honest!

Regis, please don't piss on my leg and tell me it is raining

the shorts are not the ones doing what you call "artfull manipulation"
to steal shares from longs

when I posted this"
Message 11817447

at 6:40 this morning

the stock had closed in after hours at 17 and opened for pre market trades at about the same

I got all of that with less than a half hours work from publicly available information

I thought this one would fall hard over time
if I had any idea just how bad the company had missinformed then I would have shorted much more, would have covered none during the day and held all over, not just a portion

do you think that I, or others, or CNBC did this to you?

did we cancel the CNBC appeariance last night with some dumb ass excuse?

did we do the unusual and extraordinary filing with the SEC about being cash challenged?

did we time all of the press releases, PR BS, earnings report, etc etc?

did we distort the facts to make things sound great while in reality we were in deep kimshee?

did we cause the stock to drop 35% during the trading day then another 30% in one minute after hours on Friday when 99.99999% of all longs were commuting home or had shut down their trading systems for the weekend?

there have been ones like this in the past and will be many more in the future

I for one do 9 long trades for every short trade I make

but if you still think that posting facts about a company, from their own SEC filings, is "manipulation", then let me suggest you tack your PPOD shares up on the wall next to your BREX certificates and try to learn from gazing at them before you take a public swipe at our honesty

Regis, it may not really be a short-seller—grassy knoll—conspiracy theory. It might just be the application of common sense. Even—objective common sense—if one doesn't marry their stock, and further, that the coloured lenses are disposed:

…just thinking out loud, here.
