Frank, all this will be just a line in history. Company's future ernings will drive the stock price of msft. Msft has been working towards many other developments besides PC. In a long term scheme of things this is just noise. Any way I rcvd the following email.

Microsoft says will continue fighting antitrust case

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and other top executives were
expected to respond to the findings in detail at a news
conference scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST.
In a videotaped statement, Gates expressed optimism that
the two sides could come to a settlement before the judge
issues a final decision and order, expected early next year.

Cullinan said U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson's
initial ruling included some findings favorable to Microsoft,
including an acknowledgment that the Redmond, Wash.-based giant
accelerated development of the Internet.
"While we disagree with many of these findings, we're still
confident that the law supports us on these points and that the
American legal system will ultimately rule that Microsoft's
actions were fair, legal and good for consumers," Cullinan said.
