Looks like some analysts are going to be working overtime tonight and this weekend...

clawing back up to 89. I'm glad we have the whole weekend to analyze this thing to death.

Note: Joel Klein is one ugly spud. I wished he'd have lost just to have been spared seeing his rows of yellowed teeth on that sh*t eating grin.

I'm amused by all this, having been in the legal biz for many years. Was this unexpected by anyone? The real story is what the judge orders as a remedy. Did anyone really think this finding would be anything other than what it is?

don't think any institutional players will dump

The parts will be worth more than the whole. There is very little long term risk to longs here. The government couldn't even find an investment bank that would be willing to help them with possible scenarios in breaking up MSFT.

The tone of the statement is clearly disturbing. Microsoft will of course contest everything. Klein is saying this is a great victory for the American consumer; I doubt it. It is a defeat for the American investor. This will give the tech stocks a cold shower on Monday morning and now that MSFT is a Dow component, ditto for that index. I am looking for the low 80's or high 70's then some serious buying should emerge. Gates has called a press conference that will begin at 7:30 EST. IMO this could trigger a mini correction next week.
