Thomas, 20Gb seems to be a little low if FORE wanted to tout itself. The Lucent 550 is only a 25Gb switch and only supports OC48 interfaces, not OC48c. Regardless of the possibly arbitrary choice of what is termed "core", the over 20Gb segment is a $1.2B segment that Newbridge cannot yet address. It is interesting the ASND and FORE, with switches that are almost 2 years old, are still dominating this segment. And if the survey is to be believed, ASND garners almost $700M in revenue from this segment. Gary
