I have to agree w/ you Catcher. Was musing about this just now over on the G&K thread. Thinking about Bill Gates at 19 dropping out of Harvard and creating a business (and in a way setting the model for all the internet zillionaires these days--the entrepreneurial fever)...key brilliant business moves he made in going up against IBM early on...(nobody had toppled Big Blue before)...relentlessly improving products...creating incredible wealth for employees, and spearheading an industry that has changed our lives in so many ways, so that we have PCs and places like SI...the world has benefitted far more than any "threat from a monopoly"...and MSFT faces genuine threat now from the wireless world.
