I have a mixed reaction:

First, I hate microsoft products. The DR GEM graphical environment was MUCH better.

BUT, it has been great to have ONE graphical environment that integrates ALL the products and support issues. DOS was a pain.

PLEASE let's not have all the fragmentation of the UNIX world. They can't agree on much of anything.

I'd like to see Microsoft license Windows (for maybe $5 per license ... something cheap) but the versions MUST be the same product across the board. Is that realistic?

Looks like a NO WIN situation.

Windows 95 should be $10 per seat.
Windows NT should be $20.
