Jean, MSFT will stay profitable but I expect they will take quite a hit as the market antipates the sea of lawsuits for damages from all those small companies that got beaten up by the monopolistic behaviour....that is what will drag the stock down those multi billion dollar payments for all those texas lawsuits(there will probably be 100s of them filed as every crooked lawyer and their dog gets into the cat. There will no doubt be some consolidation, but there may well end up with 30-40 class actions?
As to under $50.......free fall can happen, especially if there is a lot of publicity about all those class action lawsuits. 100 million share day? just might be a chance to buy at days end really cheaply. Those lawsuits are years away from final resolution and MSFT will make money all the while they are churning their way through. So stand back and buy when you see "blood in the streets" (a famous quote).
