Brian, Your God is so weak that he only knows how to torture others as a punishment? True rehabilitation through unconditional love is beyond his power? We would not accept that kind of behaviour(physical abuse as punishment) from a parent. We would call that parent a monster, a psychopath, and pure evil. You call that behaviour froma god, righteous? That is why most people now turn away from many forms of traditional religion. Philosophies such as yours are abhorrent to them. Learn to think like some of the Christians on this thread and you may actually gain some followers instead of driving them off. Mark
