Ramsey, in this market, you can not be sure that the MSFT situation won't be rectified by spin alone come Monday. however, as has been discussed on this thread, a short term top in the NAZ seems rather likely anyway, and MSFT could reinforce that. which strategy is most appropriate for you depends on your trading and investment style i guess. whether this will indeed result in a general tech sell-off should be clear before the open on Monday via the futures quotes and pre-market activity...if so, some put or short plays on QQQ would surely make sense. the time to buy MSFT puts was today, when no-one wanted them.
