There was a little dog and pony show in Edmonton on Tuesday night. UP was there along with Winspear, Olympia, Hilton, and a bunch of other companies all trying to tell their story. Stopped by the UP booth to talk to David Russell but he had nothing new to say other than that things were looking better and how bad the previous management was. Personally, telling investors how poorly the company was managed the last couple of years does not do much to make me want to invest in it now. Also, he mentioned that the total acreage UP controls is now down to about 200,000 net from the 345,000 they had before due to leases they have let expire and the deals they have made.
