Laura,
Hi!!

RE: Sentiment...

So nicely put...DELL shareholders are spoiled...the traders are not of a concern to DELL...being patient is key...I can't imagine DELL management not knowing that they have over 24,000 shareholders that work for them daily...way beyond the "hourly rate" in anticipation of their stock moving...Michael's words of taking care of the long term shareholder is gold...Those that doubt it and sell will always have to deal with Kevin Rollin's statement at the end of that quarter when we dropped into the 30's:
"Those that sell DELL will be sorry."
I trust the management...I don't need the $$ tomorrow... when I first invested I didn't either...For almost four years now I've been rewarded and rewarded in the shortest period of time ...Yet, I know the future is not easily foreseen to some...They grow impatient knowing DELL's track record... I'm prepared to wait...Many of the plans are out of box... the revenue growth that is starring me in the eyes scares me...Service, above all...Take the revenue growth that CPQ makes on this...The odd thing is, Compaq is failing miserably at re-tooling their own company, yet, they charge others in consulting fees to show them how to streamline their business and optimize their supply chain as part of their e-business services offerings....Not only does something seem a bit out of whack here...IMO DELL is stealing this market share and revenue growth faster than all other aspects of their business...
Best, kemble
