Yes, JDSU is a "King". I know about The Gorilla Game, but have not read it. I put it a little differently. In any industry, #1 gets rich, #2 survives, and everyone else goes bankrupt. I want to own #1. That's why I own MSFT, CSCO, AOL, etc.

And I agree we should allow ourselves to express the joy we feel over JDSU. I just think it should be in the form of "Wow, this is great", rather than "JDSU is the next Microsoft, and will be 300, no 500 by the end of the year. Rah, Rah." :-)

Yes, I do use TA. But I am extremely skeptical of it's effectiveness. In fact, I'm a professional skeptic. If you told me aspirin fights headaches, I'd ask you to prove it's not a placebo effect.

TA people lie to themselves all the time. They'll point to an indicator that called a big price move, and ignore all the false calls. About the only thing I think is real in TA is trends. And even there you can lie to yourself. It's too easy to re-draw the lines when a trend is violated.
