duane i understand your analogy. i just laud msft for
shrewd negotiating where the judge & you see it as a problem. reiterate that in my opinion ANY of the cry babies would have behaved in the same manner as msft were roles reversed. again imo, msft is punished for good american competitive practices because they happen to have a large market share.
you seem to have better understanding of what companies can and can't do...still an interpretation apparently since gates & co feel they are okay by the law. i am hoping they are right since i see them as being great competitors...so great that they have 90% of the market & they charge a fair price to stay that way. (you see--i am hopelessly tied to my position)
