The problems were intermittent thruout the day. Even when they were "up" it was slow. They are just begging for a class action suit. I mean they were closed for business off and on thruout the day. And for this, they charge three times Datek. I think when Merrill, Lynch comes out Dec. 1 with $29.95 trades, Schwab will be coming down. A reporter from the WSJ private messaged me and wants to discuss my problems with Schwab. They always want to talk to you on the phone and write things in their little pad. I guess that's the way they're trained. I have read that e-commerce companies solve volume problems by having servers around the country. I live in New Orleans. Maybe the servers/routers in my area were overloaded, and yours weren't.
