Cuemaster...??? It is LEGAL to have a monopoly in the U.S. QCOM is the next best bet, imho, to develop a (very profitable)legal monopoly. What is UNACCEPTABLE, in a free enterprise, capitalistic country like the US is to use one's power to ILLEGALLY stifle free competition. You gotta follow the rules. You can't rape, pillage, murder, OR abuse your monopoly to STIFLE competition. The ONE big company per product model has been tried -- by Stalin, who likely would have loved the MSFT approach. I prefer Judge Jackson's interpretation...a re-assertion of the pro-free enterprise model. Follow the rules, compete on quality, offer the consumer a choice. Welcome back some open innovation!
