Fellow MSFT investors: Today we saw how our gov't really works, and I'm sure you wish you could reclaim all of your tax dollars paid over the years to pay for this BS! I for one am proud that msft is standing firm against the gov't lawyers who are expecting unrealistic demands that msft should never give in to...the gov't has still not shown how consumers are harmed by msft's business practices...nevermind the competition---there is no mercy for them (winners and losers, remember?) the average consumer chooses msft because they like the product, not b/c someone forces them...I predict a settlement and slap on the wrist---then business as usual. btw, this is what happens when the Liberals (read: hate " big business and successful companies" ) have a say in what transpires in this industry.

Cheers!

The Wintel combination gave Clinton his economic record. If it weren't for productivity gains, interest rates would be in the double digits and inflation would be in the double digits. MSFT gave me free internet browsers (Netscape would have charged). They gave me a cheap operating system so I could be a cheap computer powered by a great Intel chip that, by the way, keeps going down in price every three months.

I am not Republican. In fact, I really hate what the core Republicans stand for. But, it really eats at me that the Clinton Justice Dept. is at the core of all of this anti-trust crap. The young, new Democrats. Bullshit.

Just for the recod, when Bush wins, you'll get a bunch of crappy, over-zealous lawyers too. But, they won't be "pro-consumer" they will be pro-business (that's bad too).
