Your experiences with US online brokerages sound pretty scary, But if you really want to see some scary stuff, try out a CANADIAN online brokerage. All I can say if your lucky to live in the USA!!

Although it may be a blow to many people if it happens - I think the only way to discover if you really are a cowboy out here on the prairie is to be very successful in long term bear AND bull markets - then we will know who truly has got "the right stuff" - learning the wrong things about investing because of experience based in a short time frame can be very deadly over the long term. It will be very interesting to see the next 10 years play out.

Wow.. What a story.. I would have to totally agree.. One thing that surpised me was how L2 is worth every stinking penny plus 100X more..

I have traded without L2 until about 1 month ago.. I have had the best month of my life. Yesterday, my service was down intermittently and I felt lost. Sort of like the day before when SI was down..

My next investment is DSL.. 10X faster than most modems and absolutely no dial-up.. you are always hot.

I just downloaded the MyTrack software and opened the account. E-trade cost me 175.00 in bad fills last week alone. I know its not much to some of you guys but to me its a lot.

Good Luck, and thanks again.
