1st of all...when you say several months ago, i take that to mean 3 or 4 months. HEC was not 3 during that timespan. If my memory serves me...HEC has not climbed more than 1/8 or 1/4 during any period this whole year. I could be mistaken and am not questioning how smart you may have thought you were.

HEC started fall from it's perch at 5-7 range during the beating oil prices took combined with some questionable financing and political turmoil in colombia. imo, these smaller companies are simply out of favor.

HEC has fallen due to what some consider failures in the field, ie: possible non-commercial well. It has fallen on good news as well which leads me to believe that the market just doesn't care about these issues now.

I believe with patience you will see your investment rise as hec's drilling program unfolds or rather continues to unfold.

I first bought 4 or 5 years ago at 1 1/8. rode and sold up to 7. still have moucho shares, happy to say at no cost. believe that the company now is by far better off than it was when i first bought. sorry this more than 25 word explanation doesn't help more.
