ed, the spectacle of Janet Reno and Joel Klein smiling and congratulating each other on their successful smearing of a great American success story was repulsive, not only ideologically, but physically.

Many people love to bash Microsoft, but it's a free country and they can run Netscape and Linux all that they wish. Only they mostly choose to run Windows with MS Office 97/2000 because it's easier to use and the public has voted that's what they want.

Apple dropped the ball in the early 80's when they could have liscensed out their OS and got greedy. IBM OS/2 was a non-starter, full of bugs. Netscape was too slow recognizing the Microsoft threat and they paid the ultimate price. Lotus is sucked into IBM and fading away, and Novell has proven itself to be unnessesary with the advent of Windows NT. Sorry, thems the facts.
