P.S.- Despite any new data, I still think the Fed will 'take back' the third rate reduction with a one quarter point raise. (I agree with the Brinker odds of about 60/40 in favor of a hike).

Better on 16 Nov. than 21 Dec. (& waiting till 2 Feb. 2000 is waiting too long - for the pre-emptive Fed that is). Can't believe they would raise on the eve of Y2K (unless convincining/overwhelming data appeared by then!).
