Well, my problem with toys r us (online) is that they imploded about a month ago and severed their ties with Benchmark after hiring a team and making a commitment to etail... therefore they were back to square one at that time after investing about a year... what happened?

I don't know whether etoys can compete either but I have yet to see a brick and mortar operation take on etail and win in any space. Barnes and Noble and Walmart were supposed to wipe Amazon off the map this year - Walmart hasn't even gotten off the ground.

Personally I think toys r us and etoys will probably sell about the same amount of merchandise online this season. Etoys has a better site, imo, as does Amazon... of course toy has the name and advertising... I don't know.
