Time to use some stealth radar technology to impact on these revenue-raisers ... Use tin foil shreds fluttering around the license plate to deflect radar and cameras.

Speed tickets are major tax sources for counties and localities. I am surprised the Federales are not too involved in this racket (except the 55 miles/hour limit imposed under pressure from AARP!)

Ish, the State of New Mexico needs the money and, thinks this is the best way to get it. Their penalties on everything are pretty severe.
