Good morning, John. This is a very good point: "Who will want to work for msft."

Last night on the radio I heard that MSFT has said they are already having a difficult time finding the employees they want and need. There are so many different companies in the technology field hiring that people with the "right" skills can pick and choose. MSFT used to be glamorous as did AAPL at one time. All of these companies have employee stock option and purchase plans, which is the carrot on the stick for many (most?) perspective employees.

As of last night, I do think it will be harder for MSFT to hire the kind of people they really, REALLY want. I would also not be surprised if they start facing the problem of having existing employees quietly start looking for jobs elsewhere.

I am very glad _not_ to be a shareholder of MSFT.
