Calvin, I don't know why Gateway will be selling through VARs in Canada. I was hoping that they would open their Country Stores in the major population centers in Canada. Next time I see a Gateway ad, I'll call the number and inquire just how one can go about buying Gateway in Canada. You are right about DELL's direct model here being the exact same as their US model. Boy are they pouring on the advertizing!! Three full pages in the national newspaper "Globe and Mail" this Saturday, disbursed within the edition, including 2 back covers of sections. I hope it is paying off! D.Plen
